Question: halogen bulbs.  this is upgrade from original bulbs. will system handle load? 92 do dge dakotaA Shopper / Nov 24, 2020
Hi, Halogen bulbs are a type of incandescent light bulb, with similar features and diffusion of light. They are about 30% more efficient than the old-style incandescent bulbs and are longer-lasting. The way halogens work means that they produce more light while using less electricity. Yes, the load is not affected. This set of headlights are compatible with the 1992 Dodge Dakota All Submodels All Engines. But, they are currently out of stock (sold out). It says driver AND passenger side headlight, so it sounds like it's both. I believe when I bought them, you could buy one and/or the other.

On my 1995 Dakota they have two adjustment screws (hex) on each lamp assembly. One adjusts the horizontal and the other screw adjusts the vertical. There are good videos on YouTube that describe how to adjust headlights.

Question: How do I get hid or led bulbs?Audrey W. / Aug 14, 2022
Hi Audrey, I'm glad to assist you. It is best to purchase these new headlights and upgrade the halogen bulbs to LED bulbs. It is much more practical than upgrading to an HID headlight conversion kit. The LED bulb version is 9004 bulb type. We do not carry LED bulbs, but you can get them locally or from many online stores. Grab our sale price offer with 60% off already. Just like Jeonino E. above says, you can easily buy an LED version of the halogen bulb, and me personally I like the light output performance and appearance of LED lights. I think if you absolutely have to have HID performance, you'd have less headaches just adding a separate off road set of lights honestly. But you might be surprised with how much of a difference it makes just having clear, new lenses. Cheers!
