Yes, I did mine in my driveway. I did a Youtube search to find how to remove and install. The video I watched told me which parts of the car had to come off and what problems I might encounter in the process. The replacement actually went very smooth., and I didn't have any difficulty. Lights work great, so much more light than the old cloudy ones. Hope this helps.

I replaced my in my yard....quite easy. Just pull the 2 pins, undo the wires and put in the new one the same way you took out the old one.

It is possible that the company shows you what the black one looks like when it's not turned on. I have easily installed them myself and if I can do it, anyone can, who plugs in an electric lamp. Hope this helps you decide.

No, the 1998 and 1999 models are different. These headlights are compatible only from 1999 to 2003 Ford Windstar All Submodels and All Engines.
