Hi Donald, This set of headlights will have clear lenses and chrome interior housing, a direct replacement to the factory stock design.

The headlights are clear and work great. I can not tell the difference between the ones I pulled and the new ones except they look new.

Question: New headlights do not fit 1 for 1 as the brackets on the new lights are too small to fit back in the original holes. I thought these were direct replacement for a Toyota Tundra 2004 SR5 Double cab? I am missing something?Joe D. / Jul 26, 2020
Hi Joe, Base on the Fitment Information these headlights only fits the 2 door regular cab and access cab (Extended cab) not the Double Cab (crewcab).

My vehicle is a Tundra ‘04 TRD Access Cab 4.7 liter and they fit perfectly. I did have to turn the lower side mount bracket so they aligned with the factory bolts. But the manufacturer tucked them flat for shipping purposes—-no big deal. Have you checked YouTube for any installation tips?

Hi Bennett, We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. Sorry, it was months ago but I don't recall any clip on my Tundra. I removed the old assembly, installed the bulb into the socket, and the light screwed into the assembly with a ring that probably only turned 1/4 turn to install.

Comes with bulb retaining clips and bulbs. Ready to install. The bulbs included are not the brightest. Assembly fits great.

It was quite easy to replace headlight assembly on my 04 tundra. You have to first remove sidemarker light which just snaps in. Use a plastic tool to pry out. Then unbolt assembly and remove. Adjust headlight beams before reinstalling sidemarker lights- much easier! Took about 15 minutes per side.

It took me a few minutes to figure out what to do. You need to snap out the signal lights first. Otherwise , the lights are easy to install then adjust the light height to your preference.
