Hi Mark, The bulbs are already included you do not have to buy any bulbs. But, for whatever purpose you need the bulb type, for the high beam, it is 9005 and for the low beam, it is 9006.

Hello - I ordered these replacement lights for my Envoy and I had someone put them in. The bulbs are included and it only took our friend 10 minutes to replace them. Just need to test out exactly where they hit (at nighttime) because I didn't check first and when I came out of my driveway the lights were facing the ground and not straight down the road - just something to think about! I bought these headlamps for the same reason: mine were foggy. They come with halogen bulbs. I am an auto mechanic/ technician so i can say this as a professional: any time you put a hotter bulb that is not recommended there is a risk of them melting the lamp. I have experienced this more often when the bulbs don't fit correctly. In your case the LEDs are cooler so there should not be a heat issue. Although an issue will be made with electrical devices and/or the body control module not performing properly because the system is not made for the resistance that the LED bulbs have
