These headlights fit my 2013 Ford F150 XLT perfectly. They look great! The install was as easy as three screws, three plug-ins, and now the front of my truck looks like new! I have a 2013 F-150 and I did put brand name sea light LED bulbs that were made to replace the halogen bulbs in these headlight housings with no issues whatsoever. A much more usable whiter light with the LED bulbs installed

Hi,
HID stands for High-Intensity Discharge. The bulb works in a different way than a halogen setup. Instead of a filament heating up and glowing, HID headlights use electrodes to charge the gas inside the bulb producing a brighter, whiter light than the regular halogens and tend to have a longer lifespan.
