Question: my headlights are both H11 (halogens) and D2R xenon HID. can I install the HID and Ballast on this assembly?Kevin K. / Nov 18, 2020
Hi Kevin,
H11 and D2R are bulbs. The terms Halogen and HID are the light source. I would say, No, to your question if you can install an HID ballast on these halogen headlights. it will not work cause the light sources are very different. You can, but first, you must have a headlight conversion kit, from HID to Halogen.
