My original pair faded away a few years ago and I got tired of applying restoration only does but so much and fades after a few weeks. So when I bought these I also bought clear protectors that glue on with a heat gun or hairdryer. They still look new. You should get the clear headlight covers too.

Answered by Reggie / Sun, Aug 23Our covers still look new and clear. It gave our car a newer appearance and our lights shine farther for better driving at night. When the car is at home it remains parked inside a garage so that may slow down some damage from the sun. We are happy with the purchase.
