Ordering from car, parts was fast and easy! One did come three days before the other but it was still pretty fast. Fits like a glove and looks great on the car. I wish I would’ve done it sooner. Bought another used Volvo and will be putting new headlamps on that one also.
Would definitely use car parts again!

Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Oct 08changing these lights is too easy, no youtube videos required. Open your hood... look above your headlights for two metal tab like sliding "pins"... pull them straight up.. afterwards the lights pulls right out, just remember to undo the big plug in the back before going all incredible hulk on the headlight to pull it out. Obviously to put them back in, reverse the process.

Answered by Todd L. / Fri, Oct 08I found it very easy to replace the headlights on my Volvo S80. Just pull up the two tabs on top of the headlight assembly, lift the retainers out. Pull the headlight out away a few inches..
Disconnect the plug (there is a tab that must be depressed) and remove the old assembly and reconnect the plug (it must click), slide it back in (check that the weatherstrip is in place), insert the two retainers, and you are good to go.
The headlights from CarParts are an exact for for my S80.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Apr 12No extra parts are needed. You literally just unplug the old ones, take out the pins, then plug in the new ones, and stick the pins back in. The Volvo setup makes it easy!

Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Jan 25These particular headlight assemblies do not support HID lighting. If you do have HID bulbs, then these headlights are probably not the correct ones for your application.

Unfortunately, no. This kit fits the 2008 Volvo S80 V8, but these halogen headlights are not equipped with the adaptive feature.
