AS YOU MAY HAVE SEEN MY REVIEW OF MY INSTALL OF MY SUPERSPRINGS ON MY 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO, THE INSTALLATION OF THE MOUNTING KIT WAS NECESSARY ON MY TRUCK AS MY FACTORY SPRINGS WERE OVER THE AXEL. I HAD TO SHORTEN THE LEG LENGTHS ON THE FOUR U-BOLTS BUT THAT ONLY TOOK TEN MINUTES AND A HACKSAW AND VISE. IT WAS SO SIMPLE. JUST REMEMBER IF YOUR LEAFS ARE OVER THE AXEL YOU WILL NEED THIS KIT AND MAY HAVE TO MODIFY THE U-BOLTS LENGTH. BUT DON'T LET THAT SCARE YOU IN ANY WAY.
