Ball mount came assembled and ready to go as pictured, put it in the receiver & towed on down the road. Bought this 7,500lb mount as an upgrade from a 6,000lb mount to transport a horse trailer & have had no issues.

I'm glad I ordered the hitch ball mount with the ball removable. I had to put the ball up higher due to how low the receiver was below my bumper. Works great though.
