The hood latch was brand new and greased up .. it works Great 👍 and the delivery came in before it was supposed to.. the company sent email and tracking number for the part its a great business to deal with..I will be buying other things from them in the future.. Question: 1993 Crown Victoria Hood release will not pull and the hood will not pop up when you bang on the hood on the driver's side. Can I pry the latch to open the hood or do have unstuck spring causing it not to open?Monkeytech / Jun 19, 2022

Hi Paul, I'm glad to help you out. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2001 Lincoln Town Car For Models With Secondary Catch. This mechanical part should work. Check for the release handle and the latch cable if it needs replacing. If you don't see obvious problems, just lubricate the latch with penetrating oil. It may also help to lubricate the cables with a spray lubricant. I hope this helps. Have a nice day.
