The hood latch assembly was received on time as specified in my order. Also, the packaging was very secure. After opening the item the latch assembly was new and in pristine condition. removal of the old latch was easy and so was the installation of the new latch assembly.

The car part was what I ordered, unfortunately it was 1 week beyond the estimated arrival date, which was not the fault of <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> but apparently a shipping issue. Would use them again for the next needed car part

Yes, it is built in on the hood latch assembly.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Dec 20yes it does but if youre buying it to get the sensor you can just defeat the current one by crossing the wires on the the old one. unplug it in front of the radiator. cut the plug off about 2-3" back on the current latch not the car plug end. on the cut off piece strip and twist the two wires together and cover with electrical tape. plug back in. the computer will see the hood is always closed. The hood sensor is not that inportant so save yourself a lot of work. You can always change your mind and buy this later

Answered by Tim / Sat, Dec 19Yes, it’s built in. The latch has the sensor, hence the wiring harness. It will fix the issue of “hood open” warnings and intermittent alarms.

Hi Daniel, I'm glad to assist you. No. It controls the hood latch mechanism only, not the trunk lock mechanism. We do not carry a direct-fit trunk latch for the selected vehicle application.
