The safety latch doesn't fit. the two top mount holes are oval, but cant adjust laterally. I'll look at fixing the original.

While it looks like the original but the safety catch was off by half inch so I had to bend it by 1/2 “

Side by side comparison of original showed the safety latch sufficiently offset such that it didn't allow the main latch to engage. Had to modify the stop to allow this to work. Otherwise, product quality seemed top notch.
