I needed to replace the hood of an aging Toyota Matrix. The car only has a few years left before I will buy something else, so I am not putting a ton of money into it. This hood was a very reasonable price; but, the diminshed quality due to the low price is evident. Upon arrival the front driver side corner of the hood was slightly bent downward (clearly from before product was boxed) and one of the threads for the hood brackets for was slightly askew. As with most replacement body parts, the fit is just a bit off and, in this case, the front end scoop fits the grill very tight. A body shop may be able to fix the fit but from 15 feet away you can't tell, I'm satisfied with that. Bottom line - Don't expect the car to look like it is fresh off the factory floor. You get what you pay for. This product is a very economical solution to repairing a car that is not up for awards at a car meet.
