Question: Like most Tacomas, my hood, which was once green, is now white with the clear coat failing. If I buy this part, can I keep it primed or must it be painted?Doc Rox / Nov 12, 2020
Hi Mark, It would be advisable to have it painted. A primer or undercoat is only a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
