I ordered this part for my 2012 VW Jetta SE with the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine. This hood is not even close to being the correct hood for this vehicle (even though the VIN / part match feature on the website says it is). The body lines where the lower portion of the A pillars meet the hood do not match at all, the hood its self is not wide enough to mount on the hood hinges, and the holes pre drilled for the hood latch do not line up with the OEM hood latch. This hood is in no way shape or form ever going to fit your 2012 Jetta as the website states.

Thought I can actually count on them to deliver on time, but hood came in and was badly dented, called Customer service and explained to them and was told that they would send me another one. Then a few days later, I get an email for a refund and because the part is out of stock. They are such liars because I tried reordering without checking out item and part was available. Guess parts are good and fast delivery for certain parts as reviews from different customers has written

Answered by Andrew B. / Sat, May 15I bought this item before and it cam black.... however, they sent me the wrong hood and when I asked for an exchange they just sent me the correct one for free. Leaving me with the wrong item to throw to the trash. This was such a waste, just because they didn't wanted to pay for the shipping back. However this is pure pollution and leaves me with the problem of disposing a perfectly fine hood..... In summary, it comes black, just make sure you tripple check with them which VW serial number this is..... don't rely only on the "2021 vw jetta hood"
