If you are asking about the fitment of the part, this idle control valve is guaranteed to fit the 2002 Ford Ranger XLT with 6 Cyl 3.0L only.

Answered by Jay G. / Wed, Oct 28Hi Elizabeth, first of all I don't know what a PTE valve is. The part you are buying is an ICV valve and it fits before the intake manifold and held on by 2 bolts. It regulates the amount of air going to the cylinders and correct idle issues.

Hi,
This will not come with a seal, since our image is application specific i do not see any seal. Usually it comes with a round o-ring on the round tubing and our image does not show the o-ring.
