Question: I'm having issues with my 2010 Hyundai Accent not starting after putting gas in the tank. It starts after I push on the gas and hold my foot on the gas for 1-2 mins until I can release without it stalling. I researched online and read it could be the purge valve is there any other thing it could be or anything else I would need changed along with the purge valve?Brandy P. / Aug 03, 2020
Hello! Does that happen after it's sitting overnight? Or every time you start the car, even when it's warm? Does your vehicle have any check engine lights or faults?

Had the very same issue. I replaced the evap valve and the issue disappeared. Very cheap part and even cheaper labor.

Question: My 2008 Hyundai accent gs will die on me while driving every once in a while but then will be fine once running for a while?Mrsomebody / Dec 27, 2023
Hi Brandon, I'm glad to assist you. We suggest having the vehicle diagnosed by a mechanic for them to pinpoint what is causing the issue and advise you on what part you need to replace. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring.
