Question: Would a bad ignition coil cause a f150 to run a few seconds than stop?Ruger / Aug 18, 2022
Hi Spender, I'm glad to be of help to you. Yes, it may occur on all vehicles, not just an F150. A malfunctioning ignition coil will cause your vehicle to misfire when you accelerate. Your car will misfire as you accelerate if your ignition coil isn't working properly. In extreme circumstances, a misfire could result in your car cutting out while you're driving. One of the cylinders' improper or absent firing is what causes the misfire. If interested in these ignition coils, click on the link below to order at 50% off the regular price today while supplies last. I hope this is helpful. Have fun shopping at CarParts.com!

It could.
It could be your coil, wires, spark plugs or injectors though.
You could get a spark tester and see if you're getting spark to all of your plugs.
