Question: My slk 230 it's. Like when you give it gas it starts to hit on just 2 or 3 cyl. Could this be the coil pack? And when that happens I can shut the car off an it straightens out. Until I get on it a little.Douglas001 / May 07, 2021
Hello! Does your vehicle have a check engine light? I would recommend having it scanned for faults. It sounds like an ignition issue of some kind, but I wouldn't want to guess what parts you need without seeing the fault codes first

It could be. The way to find out is to see what cylinders are misfiring and switch out the two coils and see if the problem switches. If the problem switches change out both coils. While you are at it change out your plugs. You may also want to check your air flow meter.

Yes this could be part of the problem....wires, plugs or coil tower. Also check the condition of the voltage regulator mounted in the alternator
