DriveWire is quality for low price!Ignition Coil, 2.0L/2.5L Eng., 4 Male Blade Terminals
5.0/5
I was hesitant because of the price being low but the fact that they meet all the engineering certifications kept me interested. Then I called one of your part specialist and they assured me they are quality parts because that company is an affiliated manufacturer. I took a chance and I am glad I did. My car runs so well and they are quality parts.

Question: I replaced 1 ignition coil on my Mazda due to misfiring on cylinder 3.  Replaced all spark plugs, were worn.  Only replaced the one effected ignition coil. Car runs well now. Are the other 3 ignition coils in danger of failing now?  What did the cold weather recall on Mazdas involve?  Thank you, Robert.Robert / Feb 06, 2022
Hi Robert, I'm glad to assist you. It is fine to replace 1 or 2 ignition coils. But it is best to have it all replaced if the mileage has reached 100,000 miles or more. That is the recommended service life of the part. The other old ignition coils should go bad in a short period if the mileage maximum has been reached already. I replaced only 1 ignition coil over a year ago when my Mazda had around 74000 miles and now have over 88,000 miles with no problems. I may have caused the original ignition coil to fail by not disconnecting the battery terminal before removing it to check spark plugs. Since I don't have mileage above 100,000 my situation may be different from the other answer.
