Question: I have had an auto shop say that I needed a new computer for my 2005 Mercury Mariner Premier. While I had P0354 Ignition Coil "D" Primary Control Circuit/Open Code P0354 indicates that your powertrain control module (PCM) or engine control module (ECM) has detected an issue with the primary or secondary circuit in ignition coil 'D' — the coil used on cylinder number 4
