Being an old truck, opt to purchase an ignition switch 2000 Chev. Silverado. Although parts work, but not as good as oem. Until it fails, this is what it's going to be for now. Sorry I can't rate parts at this time.

Question: I had to hotwire my 99 Chevy suburban because my cylinder lock was jammed due to the gear in the housing unit being broken. I replaced the unit and the cylinder lock with new keys but now all the truck will do is crank but won't turn over. Will I need a new wiring harness also?Blair H. / Mar 06, 2023
