This may not be of much value without a picture to point to... but the hose that connects to the IMRC horizontally goes to a hose fitting on the plastic manifold, about midway front-to-rear, two-thirds down. The hose on the IMRC's vertical fitting goes to a fitting on a cylindrical component (I believe it was called Swirl Control on a diagram I found) just behind the manifold. The fitting is near the back of the component, facing the vehicle's left -- use a flashlight to find it, it's a little tricky to find. There's a couple really informative videos on Youtube as well.
