The lever is a chrome colored hard plastic. The same material make, fit and form as of the factory original part.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Tue, Oct 27Jeonino, this handle is the same as the original one, chrome coated plastic. Any way it fit perfect, easy to install (+/- 15min incl taking and reinstall door panel) l pretty and seems a quality product.

Answered by Benoit B. / Tue, Oct 27It seems to be a chrome coating, similar to the original. They added a spring return...& BTW I had to enlarge one of the slots to get it to seat properly, to engage the stud clip
