The carparts site is wonderful however I have an issue with the product. The little white clips on the back side of the door latch were very soft plastic and broke almost immediately. Luckily I was able to reuse the old ones in their place.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the clips on the door latch. It seems the plastic material may not have been durable enough for the intended use, leading to the breakage. We’ve reached out to you via email to discuss your preferred resolution, and we’re committed to resolving this matter promptly.

Question: do you just take the old one out and there is no spring involved ?Don C. / Sep 19, 2020
Hello Don,
We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended.

I had no issues doing the install. The handle and lock comes complete you just have to make the connections. Don't have to deal with spring.old out, new in

Answered by Lazuwaun M. / Sun, Sep 20As I recall, the springs are internal in the handles, which mount in the doors with a screw.

Answered by Jeffrey M. / Sun, Sep 20Question: is there a spring that goes to the lock ?Don C. / Sep 19, 2020
Hello Don,
This only has the spring to keep the door handle lever in proper place. Check the fifth image from the top.

No. It's just the piece you see. You will attach it to a metal rod located inside the door. That's what does the pull to open.
