I put this hood lift support on my newly acquired 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The old support didn’t work at all. This one was fast and easy to install ( maybe a minute and a half). Definitely recommend it.

That was a good price on them they're a little hard to open and close it's real stiff but it is loosening up a little bit my wife still has a little problem but for the price you can't complain

Question: How to replace hood support ?A Shopper / May 19, 2020
Hello! The locking tabs can be gently pried with a small flathead screwdriver or a pick, which will allow the hood lift support to be removed easily. Let me know if that answers your question!
