They fit on my Canadian 2014 RX350!Driver Or Passenger Side Hood Lift Support, 6 Cyl., 3.5L Engine, Japan Built Vehicle

I didn't realize my 2014 RX350 was made in Canada and I ordered these by mistake because they were cheaper. Good news is....they fit!!! I think the difference is whether you want the replacement struts to match your original OEM hood struts.

Saved me hundredsDriver Or Passenger Side Hood Lift Support, 6 Cyl., 3.5L Engine, Japan Built Vehicle

Purchasing from carparts.com helped me save over 950.00. I had to replace my hood struts. I was quoted almost $1000 to replace them. I looked at carparts and located the struts needed. I purchased them for a very reasonable price, they arrived on time...and I was able to replace my struts by myself. Thank you carparts for great customer service.

Hi-David We have a helpful DYI steps on our website, please click the link below and scroll down at the bottom portion to see it..."Replacing Worn-out Lift Supports". https://www.carparts.com/lift-support Still, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for step by step instructions. For my 2010 Lexus RX350 it was easier than I thought. After propping hood up with a broom handle, the lift supports popped right off. I had looked at you tube first, but was pleasantly surprised at how easily the old hood supports were removed.

Your vehicle specific repair manual is the best source of information on the removal and replacement for the worn-out lift supports. Take a screw driver and slip underneath the clip and the end will be pop off the support.

There are clips at both ends that you pry off with a flat screwdriver.

Pop the clip off and it should just slip off the ball.
