The wife's twenty year old Outlander is slowly starting to show it's age and the lift supports on the rear hatch were making it a little difficult to raise. I had never replaced any of these and I went online to Auto Zone and NAPA and they wanted around $90 each for replacements. I'm not cheap but I thought that was a little steep so I found these at <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> at a reasonable price and ordered them. Got the fairly quickly and off to the garage I went to install them. Of course I found a decent video on youtube on how to replace them Took about twenty minutes to do the job. They fit perfectly and worked great. Best of all, the wife approved.

I ordered one and it didn’t work. It didn’t hold up the trunk at all. So I ordered a second one and that one did work! I wrote to the company to get a replacement. I have not received it at all. Not happy.
