Perfect fit, easy install, easy fix for very dangerous problem. This was a power lift gate, and although it said was for non-powered lift gate, it was a perfect fit.

These were needed badly, cause the hatch wouldn't stay opened all the way. The lift support was just not working correctly.

Hi Bernard, I'm glad to help you out. Aside from pressing the button, a power liftgate opens and closes without manually holding the liftgate. You are correct. Powered lift gate has an electric motor to open the gate, but because of the weight of the gate, lift cylinders assist with the opening of the gate.
