Pop the old ones out, pop the new ones in, and suddenly the lift gate stops bumping your head. This is an easy inexpensive repair. These parts fit perfectly. It’s easiest if you have a friend hold the gate up while you do the swap, and swap one at a time.

The lift gate struts arrived in a timely manner and were a perfect fit. Took about 10 minutes to swap out and they worked great. The hatch goes up and stays up again.
