Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, Jun 17No tools are required to install them. You just press them on. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the old ones. There is a clip you need to pry off. Super easy!

Hi David,
This set does not fit the 2011 Ford Taurus SHO 6 Cyl 3.5L. We have the direct-fit trunk lid support for the vehicle and it is part number TS900014 for the driver or passenger side. You need to purchase 2 for both sides.

The set of 2 did fit my 2013 SHO, but I am a little disappointed that it does not work as easily as the old Ford units.
