I would have rated 5 but I thought there was a driver side and a passenger side lift support.. When the item arrived I saw that the part numbers were the same and assumed they sent passenger side only . What I needed was the driver side and assumed I would have to resubmit. As it turned out when I called customer service I was told that the set fit both sides. When I installed them He was right and they are functioning fine. Perhaps in the description there should be a statement that the lift supports will work on either side. Thanks

The lift gate supports work well for my 2011 Toyota Venza. The only complaint I had is that there wasn't any instructions for removal, or how to install. I finally figured out that the old ones can be pulled right off the ball mounts and the new ones are simple to snap back on. Make sure you have a friend or poll holding up the lift gate. Having 1 support in place doesn't hold it up.
