I bought this part or around this part (with other parts attached) 3 times before purchasing this final piece that was the actual correct piece I needed. And this is what I have to offer: the first piece i bought was 500. Then 300. The 3rd piece i ordered through O'Reillys had less to it than this item and was 158. Not only was this the correct and most affordable route. But I didn't need to go through O'Reillys or a mechanic my husband put it in.
The problem this part was the solution for, was my durango kept telling me my trunk was open every time I'd turn my wheel. It was an electrical issue, just needing that purple wire replaced, due to it shorting out. Very simple to take out/replace.
