Here are some symtoms of a bad mass air flow sensor;
1.YOUR CAR HESITATES OR SUDDENLY JERKS FORWARD WHILE ACCELERATING
2.YOUR AIR FUEL RATIO IS TOO RICH
3.YOUR AIR FUEL RATIO IS TOO LEAN
4.YOUR OBD-II SCANNER GETS CODE P0101

It must be something related to the ignition system. Like fule pressure, check if it meets the manufacturer specifications.
