Needs better glueDriver Side Mirror Glass, Heated, No Auto-Dimming And Blind Spot Feature, Convertible/Coupe/Wagon Models, Base Model
1.0/5
This is my third replacement mirror. The glue holding the glass and the plastic insert keep separating in the heat and the sun. They work great for a while but eventually you walk up to the car and your mirror is laying on the ground, shattered.

Hi Christopher, We’re sorry to hear about the issue with your mirror, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’ve sent you an email to assist you further and explore a resolution. Mirror separation can sometimes occur due to improper adhesion, especially if the bonding surface isn’t fully clean or the adhesive isn’t pressed firmly enough during installation. Heat and prolonged sun exposure can also weaken the bond over time. We’d love to work with you to get this resolved—please check your email for further assistance. Thank you, CarParts Team

Quick shipping, the part fit, it does not match my stock one (more zoomed if that makes sense: objects definitely closer in the mirror lol) but I can see again and that’s all that really matters to me.

Question: I would like to purchase a  2011 BMW 328i Base 6 Cyl 3.0L - Passenger Side Mirror Glass, Heated, Without Turn Signal Light and Auto-Dimming, Convertible/Coupe.  However I am concerned that the connector on the back of the mirror that is pictured in you add appears to be different than the part that came off of the car.  The one that was on the car had a 4 wire connector. Does your part have a 4 wire connector?Ted C / Dec 13, 2022
Hi Ted, thank you for reaching out. No, it only has 2 prongs on the back of the mirror glass. Are you sure your existing mirror does not have a turn signal or auto dimming?

Question: The mirror pictured is wrong for a 2011 335i. They are squared off on both ends. Is the picture correct?Gregory / Aug 31, 2022
Hi Greg, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the image is correct. That model came with different mirror designs. This one is listed for a coupe without auto-dimming. Kindly provide the OE number of your mirror glass so we can check if we have one available for you.

Question: Hello, would this mirror fit in my 2011 bmw 328i sedan?Eunique / Aug 16, 2022
Hi Enat, I'm pleased to assist you. No, this is only for a coupe. Do you need just the mirror glass or the whole mirror assembly? Is it heated or non-heated? With or without auto dimming? We will need that information to give the right recommendation. We look forward to hearing from you. Have a good one.
