Hi Jen, I'm glad to help you out. As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware (clips). You can reuse the old ones or we suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store. They sell them at most auto parts stores. I hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Hi David, I'm glad to assist you. As noted in the details, it says it comes with the backing plate, which is the mechanism to lock in place to the mirror motor base. If it does not have the backing plate. Please call our hotline, 1-866-529-0412, and ask to be transferred to our returns department. Just to remind you, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.
