Hi David, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, the image is correct. What you see is the convex spotter lens which is different from the blind spot feature. The blind spot feature is an electronic system that uses sensors to detect objects and alert the driver with a visual or audible warning. On the other hand, a convex spotter lens is a small, curved mirror attached to the side of the rearview mirror. It provides a wider field of view to see objects that may be hidden in the blind spot.
