Fits well. I don't really know why others have complaints in their reviews. This was much cheaper than paying a body shop for a job I could do at home easy. Stays put and works. Simple install.

The mirror did not have a tight enough fit. I put the glass in and when I went through the car wash, the glass came off, smacked against the car and broke.

Hello! This is very easy to snap into place after connecting two wires to the spade connectors on the back of the mirror.

There is no XLE on a 2003 Avalon, you must mean XL or XLS. Yes, this driver side mirror glass is guaranteed to fit the 2000-2004 Toyota Avalon XL and XLS All engines.
