This is the whole mirror assembly that includes the mirror glass and the housing as shown in the photos.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Dec 14The mirror is sold as a complete unit. It’s a full replacement. I’ve not taken the glass off to examine the internals. But, if what your mechanic says is true, it wouldn’t matter. The entire shroud (with glass and motor) are replaced. So, there’s no need to worry about missing or broken tabs. It’s an easy process with three nuts and a wire to plug in. 15-20 minutes,tops.

Answered by Bob C. / Mon, Dec 14Not sure what the tabs are exactly but when I bought this it came with a full mirror assembly. All the internal parts are in there. You just unbolt and unplug the old mirror assembly and hook up the new one. The mirror, motor, casing, wiring harness, etc is all replaced with this one part.
