I'm a bit confused about the 1/2 triangle on the blind spot. Do you mean there's a crack in the blind spot like a triangle form? This part could be a replacement since it fits the 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 Base but it is currently unavailable (sold out). Answered by Grace G. / Mon, Feb 22Your question is hard to understand. You have a defective mirror already that has a 1/2 triangle on the blindspot (lower?) mirror? But, my stock mirror was broken from being sideswiped. So, this mirror was an exact original equipment replacement mirror. It looks and performs like the stock mirror. I installed it watching a YouTube video on "How to replace a Sprinter mirror." Good luck!

Answered by Trace W. / Mon, Feb 22I ordered this right side mirror to replace one that was broken after hitting a roadside object. It is not equipped with the illuminating indicator for blindspot warning. Just a standard identical replacement mirror.
