Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Oct 08Yes, this mirror contains the heating element, as advertised. It performs well. The only difference I’ve observed is you can see the lines where the heating coils are located behind the glass while it’s first defrosting until the entire mirror is clear. It’s a very minor difference, as it gets the job done!

Answered by Arnel E. / Thu, Jul 01Each mirror has a small almost square area that is convex, which distorts the image by making it similar to a localized "fish eye". Normally this area shown in the photo is in the upper loutside corner but when you lift the mirror to be in trailer mode (it extends the mirror outward and places it vertically), the "fish eye" is in the lower outside corner. All other parts of the mirror will faithfully display images correctly.
