I ordered this part with the information on my car. It came within a week and was easily installed. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish. I had my brother in law install it because I didn't have the tools to do it but if I would have, I know I could have installed it myself. Hi Lewis, This mirror is paintable, with black primer. Yes, this is an OE aftermarket replacement.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Sep 22The mirror comes black, and if your old mirror still has the upper plate (painted, in my case green) intact, you simply pop it off with a screwdriver and pop off the black on the new one--swap them basically. You do not need to paint it to match you car unless your old mirror was too damaged. If your vehicle is black, you won't need to do anything.
