Just installed it. Very straightforward if you watch a UTube video. Seems to work just fine and appears to be a top quality unit. Only thing was the instructions say to pull the mirror inward then cycle the folding 3 times to synchronize. I did that and it tried to fold it even more and jumped the gear. I would leave in the unfolded position like the other mirror then fold it in and out three times. I had to knock off a star for that because the mirror could have been severely damaged the way the instructions were writtem.

The driver side mirror on my 2016 Ford Explorer needed replacing. After receiving a rather costly quote from my local dealer I decided to try <a href="http://Carparts.com." target="_blank">Carparts.com.</a> The part arrived very quickly and in great shape and packaging. They also offered a list of vendors that would be willing to install my mirror for a very reasonable fee which was great! Normally my experience in the past has been that vendors are not usually willing to install a part that they have not ordered directly themselves. The visit the vendor went extremely well. I showed up at my appointment time and within an hour drove away with my new side mirror installed and working great.
