Easy to install. The right fit and operation. I was able to save my cover from the broken mirror and placed on new mirror by releasing two clips at the top of the mirror.

So the latest time my mirror is smashed by a passing truck, I ordered this one. It fit fine and works okay. There is a tab that was broken off but the three screws seem to hold fine without it.
BUT why does the paintable panel come snapped into the mirror body?
It would be nearly impossible to remove it without scratching or worse, and what is the point of having a snap in panel if I still have to tape everything off to paint?
