Ms. Stephanie, You are correct. A way to make sure you order the correct replacement mirror is to call the parts department of your local Nissan dealer and give them the VIN of your car. Ask them to give you the part number of the replacement mirror. The VIN is a long series of numbers and letters found on a metal plate when you look through the driver's side windshield. When you have the Nissan part number, compare it to the OE (Original Equipment) parts number in the item description. This part has a 'cover' that will require painting to match your vehicle (If you care.) This is an easy replacement, but requires removing the interior door panel to plug the mirror into the wiring of the car. Pax
