Does not come with correct screws. It comes with sheet metal screws that do not have countersunk heads which the holes for the mirror clearly call for. The screws are also too small even if I wanted to try to make them work. The correct screws are M5x30 countersunk screws. Costs another 10 bucks to get the correct screws.

Unfortunately, we do not have that data readily available. This pair of mirror assembly is a guaranteed and direct fit part specifically designed only for the selected vehicle application covering from 1975 to 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit / 1975 to 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco / 1980 to 1984 olkswagen JT / 1980 to 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible / 1985 to 1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet fitment. If you have the matching vehicle, this will fit and will be compatible. The dimensions of the part is not noted anymore since you have to accurately select your vehicle application (year, make model, submodel and engine size, drivetrain if needed-2WD,4WD/AWD) and the resulting search would show the exact parts designed for that specific vehicle application only.

Hi David,
As per checking, this is an (OE)original factory replacement mirror. They are the same spacing as the old mirror holes. Those mirrors are compatible with 1975-1983 Volkswagen Rabbit, 1975-1981 Volkswagen Scirocco, and 1980-1984 Volkswagen Jetta.
