The service us good, the actual part is a disappointment. Installation went just fine and the mirror operates well. However, the molded fairing fairing is slightly misshapen so the leading edge doesn't sit flat against the door's frame. No way to see that gap until after the installation. In addition this small gap creates a new wind noise at highway speed. Finally, the curved trim plate in the kit doesn't click in fully to the mirror casing.

Hi James,
This is not the factory finish as the OEM mirror. Paintable means that the part is capable of being painted or simply means that you can paint the part. We don't do painting on our mirrors and only ship them primed. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint.
