Knocked my old mirror off the car and picked this up, the price is very affordable and fit my car perfectly. The install is very simple and new nuts were also provided with the mirror which was nice. All mirror functions including electric adjustment work as advertised.

Answered by Grace G. / Sat, Apr 09Question: I have a 1999 Camry LE and I knocked the passenger mirroe assembly off. I'm 85 years old and not up to doing the replacement myself. My car is made in the USA but the Vin number starts with a 4, and I have a feeling that the electronic connector included in this replacement mirror only is compatible with Vin starting in 1. Would it be difficult at all for an experienced mechanic to somehow splice this in so it would work without it costing a fortune? Thanks, LynnLynn S. / Jan 28, 2025
Hi Lynn, I am pleased to assist you. Based on our application guide, this mirror does not fit the LE submodel of the 1999 Toyota Camry. This is only for the XLE submodel.
