Hi Teresa, I'm pleased to assist you. The oil filter sensor is used for the detection and measuring. While the switch is a component or device used to connect or disconnect the power supply. They are not the same. Upon checking, we currently do not have the oil filter sensor compatible with the 2007 Chevrolet Impala Police 6 Cyl 3.9L.
